country: South Africa is the most developed and
modern country in Southern Africa. Rich due to its mineral
resources, particularly with respect to its gold deposits,
and with tourism gaining more and more meaning. S.A.
is a multinational state with a great variety of ethnic
groups. There are several official lan-guages, with
Afrikaans and English being the main spoken languages.
South Africa has a unique wildlife paradise. Protection
of endangered species by particularly good and fully
developed national parks. The larg-est cities in South
Africa are Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Soweto,
Pretoria and Port Elizabeth.

Cape Town with approx. 2.4 million inhabitants. This
